What is a Level Two Instructor?
A Level Two Instructor is an advanced, in-house classification that serves as a bridge toward becoming a faculty member. This designation recognizes instructors who have demonstrated excellence and are ready to expand their impact by training and certifying new instructors within the Ella Med Training network.
Key Responsibilities & Capabilities
As a Level Two Instructor, you will have the authority and responsibility to:
Train and Certify New Instructors
You will be qualified to conduct full instructor training courses, leading candidates through certification and preparing them to deliver Ella Med Training courses independently.
Annual Training Capacity
You are authorized to train up to 6 instructors per year, allowing you to build a pipeline of certified professionals. Over a two-year period, this enables you to train up to 12 new instructors.
Expanded Training: You can train more than 12 people within a two-year period. Additional instructors beyond 12 require a nominal fee per instructor, allowing you to scale your impact as demand grows.
Faculty Pathway
This role positions you within the leadership structure of Ella Med Training, creating opportunities for continued advancement and deeper involvement in shaping the organization's training programs.

100% of the revenue from your instructor training courses is yours to keep. There are no splits, no percentages taken by Ella Med Training — you earn it, you keep it.
💰 Standard Instructor Training Cost: $595 per student
When you conduct an instructor training course with 6 students (your annual capacity), that's $3,570 per course × multiple courses per year.
💡 Your one‑time investment is recouped after teaching just your fourth instructor candidate — everything beyond that is pure income growth.

Training & Requirements
Initial Training Session
Before you begin training new instructors, you will complete a 2-hour initial training session. This comprehensive session is designed to prepare you for the responsibilities of instructor training and ensure you have all the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to deliver high-quality certification courses.
This training covers curriculum delivery, assessment protocols, candidate management, and all the protocols specific to Ella Med Training's instructor certification standards.
📘 Comprehensive Support & Resources
To ensure you feel fully confident training other instructors, you will receive extensive guidance and training throughout your journey. This includes:
- • Online Training Modules — Comprehensive digital coursework covering all aspects of instructor training
- • Training Videos — Professional video resources you can reference and use to deepen your understanding
- • Ongoing Mentorship — Access to guidance and support as you prepare to lead your first instructor course
Your First Instructor Course — Monitored Support
Your first instructor training course must be conducted with dedicated support and monitoring. During this inaugural course, a member of the TSC (Training Support Committee) will be present in person to oversee your training session, provide real‑time feedback, and ensure everything runs smoothly and meets Ella Med Training's standards of excellence.
This in‑person monitoring is a required step and a critical milestone — it demonstrates that you are ready to train new instructors independently and gives you the confidence that comes from professional oversight during this important transition.
Once you have successfully completed your first monitored course, you will be fully authorized to conduct instructor training independently, without ongoing TSC oversight.
The Faculty Status Pathway — Optional Advancement
After you've established yourself as a Level Two Instructor, you have the opportunity to advance to Faculty Status — an optional upgrade that represents deeper involvement with Ella Med Training's leadership and strategic direction.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to apply for Faculty Status, you must meet the following criteria:
Six months of tenure as a Level Two Instructor
Three separate instructor courses successfully completed
Important Note: Both requirements must be met — the six‑month tenure and three separate instructor courses. If you meet the requirement for three courses before the six‑month period is complete, that's wonderful — you can apply once the six‑month tenure is reached. There is no penalty for taking longer to meet either requirement.
Faculty Status is Optional
Advancing to Faculty Status is completely optional. You can choose to remain a Level Two Instructor indefinitely if you prefer. Many instructors find that Level Two status perfectly suits their goals and income objectives.

If you choose to apply for Faculty Status after meeting the eligibility requirements, a one‑time application and appointment fee applies (detailed in the investment section below). This grants you full Faculty Status within Ella Med Training.

Biennial Renewal Fee
$500
Every two years, a renewal fee of $500 maintains your Level Two Instructor status and your right to train and certify new instructors. This renewal fee also covers your instructor certification renewal — there is no separate certification fee.
This streamlined approach means your renewal fee covers everything you need to remain an active, certified Level Two Instructor.
Faculty Status (optional upgrade): $500 one‑time application & appointment fee
Only applicable if you choose to advance to Faculty Status after meeting eligibility. This fee is separate from the Level Two initial investment.
